Only back in Berlin for about 10 days and life already seems fast forwarded. I was taking pictures at one of my driver's place for a job. I went to a loesje workshop. One of these days when I arrived home I found the ultimate present. It is black and small like me but fast and slim and environmentally friendly. It's called flying fox.
It's late night and I sat all day around my room, trying to give it some life, and trying to come back to myself. Now there is wind inside my room, I promise, although I managed to get 20ºC but I have to cover those air entrances. And burn wood.
I am joining an art studio near the squatted boat by the canal and we have a little presentation exhibition on the 28th of October. And then work, work, work.
I finally sew a hood with a scarf with some old basketball's player sweater.
Life is surprisingly sweet (even though I quit chocolate until my birthday, December 17th)

How do you think peeing outside will change the world?

Imagine that you are in a music festival and, while peeing against a fence in your party mood, a whole film crew gathers around you to ask about your life with 4 cameras and a microphone!

Last month some of my friends and I made a whole film gear out of carboard and hunted people that were peeing on the fields of Roskilde Festival, to interview them about their pee life. The experience was pretty meaningful and there is a lot that you can't see in this video. Like ten people deciding on the spot how to distribute roles for a film crew and how to approach strangers the most comical way and then chasing for 2 hours the most interesting peers we could find. Or like the euphoria and the working together for a real great goal!

I always wanted to organize a group photo exhibition

and this opportunity was ideal because almost every detail depends only on me. That means I have a lot of freedom but also that I have all the responsibility. The photo exhibition is going to take place at the Road Junky Film Festival the 28-29 and 30th of May in Berlin. In the Betahaus near Moritzplatz.

So far we received over 190 images and we have to choose which ones are going to print and will be exhibited. Because the exhibit space is not very big and the budget is of course nonexistent the pictures can't be printed very big and not many can go to print.

But still, everyone has their space in the online gallery because I organised it so that it would be completely uncensored! I accepted 100% or the submissions! And most of them are amazing.

I am excited about this.

And also somehow misplaced but still engaged with the rest of the work that I am doing for the Film Festival, just because it's obvious that I am the most appropriate person of the crew to do them. Like german speaking public relations, design and photography issues. If I could I would say I'll also bake the cakes!

At times I still dream of those memories that don't exist anymore

my mother said that if we managed to break up and not be very sad, then we were lucky and we did well. but we never broke up. we went away and it became clear that we weren't doing anything together. we never talked about it. we grew apart. we never said goodbye. and when we said hello again we were already someone else. and now we can never say goodbye it seems.

About Recycling and freganism in Europe?

This is the reply I sent to Somebody who wrote asking about recycled art, dumpster diving, and professional trash picking for recyclable materials as creative ways of reinventing our trash in Europe.

Well, I could say I am one of those who could call herself a freegan, but I didn't really use that label. I guess what you meant is somebody who tries to live on freebies and leftovers as much as possible?

Here in my community in Berlin we pick leftover food from markets as well as we buy stuff. I make art with usually recycled materials but I don't necessarily try to point it out when I create something. It comes from my natural way of being, I've been called a scavenger and I admit scavenging after a flea market is very fun to do.

I know one place in Berlin where they receive and store all kinds of materials from companies or individuals that no longer need them and give them away for people who need them on donation basis. They also have a gallery where some artists show art made with reused materials, but they don't only focalize in recycled art but in just the storage of reusing materials. I'm from Barcelona, and there is an interesting association there called Drap-Art. (Drap in Catalan language means a kind of cloth used for cleaning and it used to be leftover fabric from something else). They have a store (as far as I know) and they have a special show in mid December every year where they feature art made with recycled materials (those are usually very smartly constructed things) and also a marketplace where individuals and handicraft people can sell their products made with recycled materials. For that you have to pay a lot and sometime it's doubtful the amount of material they actually really reuse, because it is hard to produce many things that look the same out of fabric or materials you randomly found. I'm pretty in the word recycle you could obviously include any kind of building built specially for one purpose, abandoned and then squatted or bought and used for something else. There is a cool arty place in Paris called Les Frigos that used to be a building sized meat storage or something similar and it was taken over by some artists to use the fridges as ateliers, and after some problems with the 'bad kind of squats' the french government bought the building and gave it to the artists :) http://les-frigos.com/
